Dr. Shindler and his staff are proud of the warm patient-friendly environment they have created and of the lifelong relationships they have built with multi-generational families in the area. Dr. Shindler welcomes patients of all ages and looks forward to meeting you and offering you the professional, caring and pain free oral health care that you deserve.
When not in the office, Dr. Shindler enjoys cycling (mountain and road), going to the gym, skiing, hiking with his 4 dogs and taking them to the dog park.
Philip and I have been married for almost 38 years. We have 2 grown children and 4 adorable dogs who keep us busy.
I started working as a dental assistant, many years ago, (don't ask how many) and when Philip bought the practice, I was roped into becoming the office manager, since I had experience.
In my spare time, I love going to the Rose Bowl Swap Meet, gardening, decorating our home, distressing and painting furniture.
So many of our patients have been coming to us since the beginning, and so many have become "part of our family".
Although dealing with insurance companies can sometimes be challenging and stressful, I love my job and couldn't imagine not being here with the staff and our treasured patients.
Daisy Garcia - Hygienist
My name is Daisy Garcia and I was born in Granada Hills, CA. I come from a hispanic family that is also very family oriented. I am the oldest of 5. I am married to a wonderful and loving husband, we have a very bright and beautiful son named Mateo and also a loyal and super friendly Yellow Lab named Bruno.
I graduated from San Joaquin Valley College Dental Hygiene School (SJVC) in September 2011. Prior to my entry into SJVC I was a dental assistant. I had been an assistant since soon after graduating High School. In fact, I started working for Dr. Shindler as an assistant in the fall of 2006. I really enjoy my dental hygiene career. It is so rewarding and satisfying to be able to help people in need with the knowledge for a much better and healthier smile, sometimes even changing peoples lives.
In addition to my full time career I am a very dedicated wife and mother. I am truly blessed and happy for my small family. On my free time I like to take long walks and hikes and when I squeeze some time, I like to exercise too. It is very important to me spending quality time with my family. My son is the spark of my life and my husband is my forever perfect companion.
Jin Ju - Hygienist
My first name is Jin Ju (two words), but sometimes people find it easier to call me Jin. I was born in South Korea, graduated from college in China, and moved to California where I attended Oxnard College to pursue my career in dental hygiene. As I have lived in different countries, I have witnessed that a person's smile is the universal expression of friendliness and happiness. Your oral hygiene is important to me, and my goal is to provide a positive revitalizing experience with a gentle touch so that you feel confident about your smile.
